Men of God at Ogun Community

Men of God at Ogun community

For a week, now christian  Religius leaders  from Nigeria, Benin Republic, Togo, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone and United States met at the Foursquare City, near Ajebo in Ogun State to pray and strategically plan how to capture the world for Christ. General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi,  Foursquare Mission International, United States, Rev. Ted Vail, as well as thousands of other pastors, elders, deacons and deaconesses were among participants at the meeting.
Overseer of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria, Rev. Felix Meduoye, was the chief host while the District Overseer of the church in Ifako, Lagos, Rev. Paul Fadayini, was the chairman of the planning committee. It was the annual International Conference for Ministers and Leaders (ICML) 2013 of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria. The conference, with the theme, Time to Work, featured series of trainings on how to capture the world for God through the gospel of Jesus Christ. In the evening of the first day, there was a formal opening ceremony for the conference.
Rev. Fadayini, Chairman, Planning Committee of ICML 2013, said the theme of the conference, taken from John 9:4, revealed that “certain things in life were very important and compeled urgency in handling them. Such very important issues included assignments from God. “In I Samuel 21:8, David said unto Abimelech, ‘The king’s business required haste.’ It is logical to deduce that if the earthly king’s business requires haste, the Heavenly King’s business will require nothing less.” The General Overseer, Rev. Meduoye urged all ministers and members of the church to work assiduously to turn every Senatorial District in the country to at least a district, every local government area to a zone and every ward to at least a branch and every street to a platform for house fellowships known as the Home and Life Centres.
“The God who put us in all state will do more for us in Jesus Name. Beloved of God, traversing a few states of the core north, namely Sokoto, Zamfara and Kebbi recently, made me to have a fair appreciation of the terrain and the accompanying challenges of our brethren that are flying the flag of our movement in those areas. “We are not unmindful, as a movement, of the sounds of bombs and guns in the northern part of Nigeria.
But beloved, we must not allow intimidation by agents of Satan to debar us from doing the work of the master while it is still day,” he said.
