Dry season farm(okoro ibo) in Izzi land

Dry season farming  or heap making is done under the heat of the sun in Izzi land in Ebonyi state south eastern Nigeria West Africa. This is usually achieved with locally made manual hoe by hauling of soil until upto a heap.
Farmers do dry season heap to get a better harvest later during the year as the people of the area believed that heap made during the dry season is better earated and contain more nutrient than rainy seasons heap.
This tool is one of the best farming tool in the eastern part of Nigeria and our sustenance is still dependent on it, since farming in Nigeria is still under Subsistence farming.
This is to tell you why the cost of agricultural product is very high in Nigeria as most of our youth are runing away from.agriculture, for the must populated country in Africa to feed its.citizen a lot need to be done by both private and government to ecourage the shifting of farming operations from manual labour to machine operations like developed countries do, so as to have more food, save time, productivity, reduce drugery.
